Vikas had several life-changing experiences and observations while working with global companies like IBM and McAfee. During this time, he closely observed high-performing professionals and started analysing what truly differentiates the Top 1% from others. Based on these insights, he developed the concept of “What Top 1% Do Differently” and created the “Top 1% Roadmap”, which uncovers what he calls the hidden or secret zone of top performers. He didn’t just study this concept, he applied it in his own career as well. This helped him reach new heights and eventually earn an opportunity from Microsoft. For someone who started his education in a Hindi-medium, low-fee government school, getting an offer from Microsoft was a big milestone and a defining moment in his life. It gave him strong confidence that these principles truly work and also helped him discover hidden opportunities and pathways to become a world-class professional. However, instead of accepting the offer, Vikas made a bold decision to decline it so that he could dedicate his time to sharing these insights with others and helping more people grow.
After this, Vikas started mentoring software engineers and tech professionals on high performance and career growth. Through his structured approach, he helped many professionals achieve 2x to 3x salary growth and secure extraordinary career opportunities. These consistent results led to the creation of Worldclass Tech Talent Pvt. Ltd., with a vision to build a complete tech talent ecosystem. Through this platform, he started offering IT recruitment services to companies, career consulting and job guidance to candidates, and mentoring and networking opportunities to tech leaders. He also launched a national-level campaign called “WTT Hai Na”, which aims to give confidence to job seekers that the right support and opportunities are available. This ecosystem is further supported by the WTT App, available on web and mobile, which uses technology and AI to identify and connect top talent with the right opportunities. In addition, Vikas has also applied for a patent on his 4D Model, which is a structured, process-oriented method for developing tech talent at scale.
Over time, Vikas realised that the “Top 1% Roadmap” is not limited to the IT industry. The same principles can be applied across different industries, and many successful leaders in various fields have unknowingly followed similar strategies to reach the Top 1%. This understanding encouraged him to expand his work beyond technology and start delivering sessions for professionals and leaders across industries. He has now delivered more than 500 keynotes and sessions for leading global organisations and Fortune 500 companies such as Yamaha, Dell, CRY, Oracle, Haier, Chegg, ICSI and many more. His sessions are known for being practical, relatable, and action-oriented, helping people not just get motivated but also take clear steps towards growth.

Apart from his professional work, Vikas is also contributing towards larger impact and nation building. He is a “Mentor of Change” under the Atal Innovation Mission, where he supports young minds in developing innovation and problem-solving skills. He is also the co-founder of the Professional Speakers Association India and served as the founding president of its Delhi Chapter. He also played a key role as the Conference Chair for the Professional Speakers Summit 2020, an international event with participation from more than 14 countries.
