CTC X Factor – Understanding 1X to 10X Professionals in the IT Industry

Defining the X-Factor Based on Salary at 10 Years of Experience
To create a universal and easy-to-understand classification, we define professional levels based on the annual CTC of individuals with 10 years of experience:

Concept Summary
If a professional earns ₹10 Lakhs per year after 10 years of experience, they are classified as a 1X Professional.
Earning ₹20 Lakhs at the same experience level signifies a 2X Professional.
Similarly:
₹50 Lakhs → 5X Professional
₹1 Crore → 10X Professional
This creates a simple and relatable benchmark to understand where an individual stands on the corporate value scale.

Here we need to develop align the “Functional Enginnering Quotient – FENQ” of the candidate with the “AI Talent” expectation.
For example, a candidate, who many not be even write “code” to develop a basic module can be taught 9X Content but we may not get the desired funtional outcome.
